Makkah Towers

Makkah Towers (formerly Makkah Hilton Towers) is about 220 meters from the Haram and faces the Haram plaza. You can walk to the Haram straight from the lobby, or through floor 6 and level B1, which also lead into the attached shopping mall (around 450 shops and a food court). The hotel was Makkah Hilton Towers until 2017, then Makkah Millennium Towers, and since 2019 it has been run independently by Makkah Construction & Development Company with no Hilton connection; today it is simply Makkah Towers.

The hotel has about 798 rooms and suites, from city-view standard rooms to Deluxe rooms with a partial Haram view, up to studio suites and villas of up to 168 square meters. Every room type has a kitchenette, fridge and sofa bed, and the 48 sqm Family Room has three single beds and sleeps 3 adults. Wi-Fi is free in public areas, but the hotel's own site says in-room Wi-Fi carries a fee while booking sites list it as free, so confirm when booking.

Breakfast is a buffet at Al Fayhaa (6th floor, Haram views) and Al Noor, but restaurant service is not offered during Ramadan and Hajj; in Ramadan, Amber restaurant runs a paid iftar and suhoor buffet. The complex has large prayer halls for men and women with the Haram imam's voice piped in, accessible rooms, a foot-reflexology centre for tired pilgrims, and a pharmacy, currency exchange and ATMs in the mall. Families get high chairs and cribs, and children under 12 stay free with their parents on the bed-and-breakfast plan. Note that a partial renovation runs until mid-January 2027 (noisy work only between 9am and 9pm), and some guests report long elevator waits at peak times.
