Emaar Royal Hotel

Emaar Royal Hotel is in the Northern Central Area of Medina, near Jafar Ibn Abi Talib Street and King Fahd Road, close to Uthman ibn Affan Gate of the Prophet's Mosque. The Haram is about 310 m away, roughly a 4-5 minute walk, so guests can reach the mosque easily for prayers and visits without any transport. The hotel does not run a dedicated shuttle to the Haram, and there is no covered walkway linking it directly to the mosque, but the short distance makes walking the easiest and fastest option for most pilgrims and visitors. Guests can also go back to the hotel to rest between prayers and return to the Haram without much effort, something many Umrah pilgrims value during their days in Medina.

Rooms come with practical basics including a minibar, a refrigerator, an LCD TV, a wardrobe and a private bathroom; according to some listings, rooms also have a desk, a safe, tea and coffee making facilities and soundproof windows, with a bathtub in some of them. For dining, the hotel has Uhud Restaurant, serving Asian cuisine, and Bader Restaurant, which focuses on international dishes, plus a ground-floor coffee shop for drinks and sandwiches and a snack corner for a quick bite. Room service is available around the clock for guests who prefer to eat in their room. Breakfast is served buffet-style daily from 6:00 to 10:00 AM for an extra charge, as it is not included in the room rate, which is worth knowing when booking to avoid a surprise on the final bill.

On the other hand, there is no swimming pool and no airport transfer service, which makes the hotel best suited to guests looking for a practical, no-frills stay close to the Prophet's Mosque.
