Emaar Grand Hotel stands on Ibrahim Al-Khalil Street in the Al-Hajlah district of Makkah, an area some booking listings also call Masfalah or Ash-Shubaikah, close to the Abraj Al-Bait complex with its landmark clock tower. The hotel is about 820 m from the Grand Mosque, a walk of roughly 10-11 minutes through King Abdulaziz Gate, which suits pilgrims who prefer to reach the Haram on foot rather than depend on transport; the distance is also comfortable for those who want to visit the Haram several times a day. The property was formerly named Dar Al Eiman Grand Hotel and was renamed Emaar Grand Hotel around 2022, so some booking sites still show the old name alongside the new one; both refer to the same hotel.

The hotel has around 606 rooms and suites, and some listings describe it as two towers of more than 13 floors each. According to some listings, rooms come with a flat-screen TV, an in-room safe, a small refrigerator and a hair dryer, plus a handheld bidet spray in the bathroom. Check-in starts at 4 p.m. and check-out is before 12 noon, and the front desk operates around the clock, so guests can arrive at any hour.
