Durrat Al Yaser Hotel, Mecca

Durrat Al Yaser Hotel sits on the main street of the Al-Murasalat area in Makkah's Al-Aziziyah district, about 5.5 km from Masjid al-Haram. The nearest Haram gate is Bab Al-Safa, on the Mas'a side. It is too far to walk, so guests need transport to reach the Haram, which makes the hotel a good fit for pilgrims travelling by car or on an Umrah package that includes transfers.

This is a budget property with simply equipped rooms and room service for guests who prefer to rest in after a long day of worship. Guest reviews are strong for its price bracket, averaging around 8.5 out of 10.

The front desk is open 24 hours, which helps on late arrivals, and the hotel offers free WiFi and free parking, a real plus for anyone driving in. Some listings mention family rooms, so families should state their group size when booking. It suits pilgrims who put a modest price ahead of being close to the Haram.
