Prestige Ajyad Hotel

Prestige Ajyad Hotel occupies a modern glass-fronted tower on Ajyad Street, the main road of the Ajyad district in Makkah. It is the same building once known as Elaf Al Mashaer Hotel before the property was rebranded, and some booking sites still show both names together. The hotel sits about 420 m from the Grand Mosque, roughly a 5-6 minute walk, with King Abdulaziz Gate on the southern plaza as the nearest entrance. That proximity makes it a practical base for Umrah and Hajj pilgrims who prefer to walk to the Haram at any hour, day or night, without waiting for a shuttle or other transport, saving time and effort between prayers and during the rites. The Abraj Al-Bait Clock Tower and the central area around the mosque are also within easy reach on foot.

The hotel has 304 rooms across several categories: single, double, triple and quadruple rooms, junior suites, connecting family rooms suited to larger groups, and rooms adapted for guests with disabilities. Rooms come with practical basics such as a minibar, a kettle for tea and coffee, a hair dryer, complimentary mineral water and an ironing board for guests' comfort throughout the stay. For dining, there are two restaurants on site, led by Al Multazim with its Asian menu, alongside a second restaurant serving international dishes and a coffee shop for drinks and light snacks, plus 24-hour room service for guests who would rather eat in their room. A daily breakfast buffet runs from 7 to 10 a.m., but it is not included in the room rate and is charged separately, so it is worth confirming at booking.

Families are well catered for, with complimentary baby cots on request and connecting rooms subject to availability, making it easier for a large family to stay together. The building has a separate prayer room for men and women, so guests can pray without leaving the hotel. Other services include a business center, currency exchange, a laundry service and a 24-hour front desk. The hotel is non-smoking with designated smoking areas, and like every hotel in Makkah it serves no alcohol. Paid on-site parking is available for guests arriving by car. Guests are asked to present a government-issued photo ID at check-in, and pets are not allowed. On the other hand, there is no swimming pool or fitness center, which may matter to guests looking specifically for those facilities.
