M Hotel Makkah by Millennium

M Hotel Makkah by Millennium stands on Ibrahim Al Khalil Street in the Al Taqwa district, about 2.4 km from Masjid al-Haram. As that is not an easy daily walk, the hotel runs a free shuttle to the Haram area roughly every hour, paused at prayer times, with drop-off at Rea Bakhsh Station.

Part of Millennium Hotels and Resorts, it has around 785 rooms and suites: 24 sqm Standard rooms in king, twin and triple layouts, plus Family Rooms, Interconnected Rooms, an Executive Suite and a King Suite. Tasneem Restaurant serves an international buffet at breakfast, lunch and dinner, M Café offers drinks and desserts, and room service runs 24 hours.

Children of all ages are welcome. The hotel has separate prayer areas for men and women, a handheld bidet in every bathroom and wheelchair-accessible facilities, along with free WiFi, free private parking, a 24-hour front desk, currency exchange and a mini-market. What it lacks is walking access to the Haram, so guests rely on the shuttle, and pets are not allowed.
